Homecoming South Africa 2026 is a curated cultural immersion experience for those interested in relocating, investing, or simply reconnecting with the African continent. Over 10 days in Johannesburg, you will learn directly from Wits University faculty and industry professionals during seminar sessions designed to answer the real questions about life, business, and opportunity in South Africa.

The investment for this experience is $3,400 ($6500 per couple), which includes:

Across ten days, your experience flows between learning, exploration, rest, and celebration. You’ll gain practical knowledge, build meaningful community, and explore Johannesburg through the lens of those already living the lifestyle you’re considering.

You’ll stay in executive-style private Airbnb residences in Rosebank, one of Johannesburg’s safest, most walkable, and most vibrant districts.

Itinerary Overview

Day 1 – Arrivals & Welcome
Airport transfers, check-in, and an evening welcome mixer with music and light bites.

Day 2 – Health & Wellness + Orientation (Wits)
Understanding life in Johannesburg: safety, neighborhoods, medical systems, and community resources. Afternoon visit to Constitution Hill.

Day 3 – Relocation & Immigration (Wits)
Visa pathways, paperwork timelines, financial setup, housing, schools, banking, SIM cards, and daily-life logistics. Guided visit to the Apartheid Museum.

Day 4 – Doing Business in South Africa (Wits)/Poetry-R&B Night
Learn where opportunities exist — from fintech to logistics to creative industries — and meet entrepreneurs shaping the future. Enjoy an evening of poetry + R&B with DJ Icon.

Day 5 – Soweto Heritage + All White Party
Tour Soweto, visit the Hector Pieterson Memorial, Nelson Mandela’s house, and enjoy a sophisticated evening of black excellence at the all-white party.

Day 6 – Safari Day Trip
Full-day wildlife experience in Pilanesberg or Lion & Safari Park.

Day 7 – Real Estate Tour
